Meluha Pravesh

The Immortals of Meluha

I've had this for a whole lot of four months, I was a bit hesitant to start up with this, but then it was at one weekend when I had nothing better to do I started flipping through the pages and apparently something turbulent awaited!

Indus Valley Civilization A.K.A Meluha (1900 BC)
Amish has tried to justify that what today's people mistakenly refer to as 'Indus Valley Civilization' was the land of Meluha, as referred by the inhabitants then. It was such a near perfect empire that the society and the people dwelled within lived by the cause, for the cause and of the cause.

It is The Meluha, the reign of Suryavanshi's, the counterpart of the evil Chandravanshi's, of all above 'the immortals'. The Suryavanshi's had a systematic way of living a life, they planned everything including their end which seemed to be void, until the fate was awaiting them to bellow out on them. The reason for them being immortal is the 'somras' consumed by the Suryavanshi's. It can be prepared from the holy river Saraswathi and only from Saraswathi. The evil Chandravanshi's have plotted an ruthless plan of diverting Saraswathi off her routine path. They have planned well that once Saraswathi is sublimed, the Meluhans would run out of Somras, resulting in which, they will no more stay immortal!

Chandravanshi's - They are seething for war with Suryavanshi's, the only difference is that they need to win by no moral means, those mean creatures of that nasty reign have even allied with the tormented Nagas to ensure that they feat victory no matter what.

Suryavanshi's - The legends unfold that when in trouble Mahadev - the destroyer of evil will appear to save the Suryavanshi's. The savior will come, not from lands of Meluha, but from far away lands as an immigrant, he'll intake somras and he'll raise up to a legendary status - Neelkanth, evil will be left with no option rather than to forfeit at the feet of Neelkanth. Meluhan's have been waiting for centuries, will the neelkanth show up, if he did will he take up this severing responsibility!

The Neelkanth
Shiva - A simple tribal chief in a remote area of tibet moves to Meluha along with his tribe as an immigrant. Once fate determines him as Neelkanth, will he accept this devouring challenge or will run away just like he did before...

Shiva - the man who raised to be god not by apathy but by perseverance, not savaging but salving, he's ferocious yet with a fervent desire to straighten out the evil. He became GOD of GODs, he became The Neelkanth

Immortals of Meluha - Eternal Life Cycle with countable immortals seething on vastly populated evil mortals for redemption! but what if the mortals weren't really evilWhat if...?

Weekend @ Pondicherry

Weekend 5 @ Pondy

Funny that I call this week 5, now that the weeks are referred often for some metric evaluation at work place, it just came in mind and though it sounds good for blog as well :)

Via Maruvathur, Mayilai, Villupuram, etc..,
Now, getting to the point, it was quite a splendid weekend in the outskirts of the French City. Before taking you to the actual french city, i sure must share the travel

An economy travel in our Railways, caught a passenger train early by 6:40 AM. Opened the next book i just started the night before - 'The Immortals of Meluha' (I'll get to that in detail in my next blog). Four and half hours along with shrewish travelers, but I was strictly confined to my Meluhans which kept me calm amidst those hollers. Am not sure if I should share this, as soon as I boarded the train, like all desperate men, i tried to catch a glimpse of young women and if any were found then i'd suite myself nearby and try to impress and again it's obvious there happened to be none. Saddened, I got back to my solitaire Meluhan journey...

Destination Arrived
I disembarked train sharp by 11:15, got on my foot to get to my aunt's. I walked by the Villianur's eminent farmlands, nothing beats those views, the only soar visual are those cattle that often move around in fleets driving commuters nuts, but it seems that they are much used to it. It was 15 minute walk from station till home, home - stirs a sense of warmth within, though I reside at home(Chennai) I never felt myself at home. if there is one place i feel free like home that is Pondy and in specific my mausi's. Even while i was doing my diploma from Hostel I preferred visiting my Mausi's every occasional leave am granted with. I like spending time there, and I don't have the slightest idea why!

As soon as i reached home, my mausi handed over a cup of hot Java, I myself made myself comfortable and got settled with the cup of hot Java and the DVD set up in front. I went through their latest collection. The only place where you can get a DIVx print of the movie that which is slated for release tomorrow is Pondicherry! i guess you can pretty much visualize how many DVD's would have been. I sorted out em all and as usual prioritized which one to begin with.

As the whole town was singing traumas of Nanban I was preparing for my goddamn certification. January was one hell of a month, all i had to do every weekend was STUDY! I still can't believe I studied!!! Obviously never got a chance to see that tamil version of 3 IDIOTS.

I was so into it like i were watching it for the first time (though it is the first time, it isn't as I've watched 3 IDIOTS like 17 times), and my aunt loves interrupting me when am so focused on something. It's like she has sworn to disturb me while am focused on something. She nudged me into eating the dishes she had prepared. Grumbling ate and soon got back to my IDIOT BOX, completed Namban, the next show was Don 2 which was now interrupted by beloved sister. Conveyed her my wishes on her belated birthday and gifted her something that which i planned on gifting a couple of months back. Anyways getting back to Don 2, i felt numb watching the TCRip without subs like an alien movie or something. My sis jumped into and inserted the Vettai disc, one hell of a idiotic movie it was. But i must say that was quite a timepass. The day was over just like that, finally uncle returned home in the late hours. I was half asleep with Jackie Chan's Gorgeous playing on the IDIOT BOX.

The following day was quite a spiritual one, as soon as i woke up the next day, my mausi drove me into shower and gave a piece of advice on taking bath on cold water and with drenched hairs should pray lord Suryabaghavan for a healthy and long life. She still treats me like a kid, the only thing that which i hate!
Then we visited the remote Lord Kasi Viswanathan temple, still deeper in the godforsaken part of town. Traveling there was quite an adventure with all the twisted trees and vines falling all the way. We made it to the temple in about 20 minutes, it was kind of abandoned in the middle of nowhere. I vaguely remember it being spacious or did it look as such because of the loneliness - am not sure. Spent some time offering prayers and wandering around the temple, it was such a beauty for my soar city eyes & ears which were used to traffic and annoying horns. Felt the effervescent peace, realized the soul within, what more could I ask for!

The next thing i remember, am back at home watching some crappy movie. Packed my stuff and got myself back to station prior to arrival of train. I was kindof awaiting to board so that soon as I do board I can resume "The Immortals of Meluha". I was oblivious to the happenings in and around me in the journey until i flipped across the last single page. Even on completing there was something reverberating within me, was it the finishing that which was left hanging midway or was it the question what if there was no such God Almighty and we become one by our deeds and acts! or blah blah.. There were quite many things hitting my inner walls of cerebellum. Maybe i should wrap up the pride of Meluha, else i'd run out on my skills to write about in my following blog that which exclusively be "Meluhan's"
